Short technical explanation on the Sims Profiles bug:
The reason Sim Profiles have bugged out in some mods is if their CAS traits are made with a 64 bit hex value instead of 32 bit. That also prevents the trait from showing up in the relationship panel.
Quite some time back I re-worked my CAS traits from 64 bit to 32 bit, but I didn’t remove the old trait ID’s from the game, and here is why:
Instead of asking you guys to manually replace all the traits I created a script that runs in the background when you load up the game that searches for Sims with that old trait, and replaces it with the new. So the experience was seamless for you guys, and everything that had to be updated was done on my end.
Now, to the problem, and why this is causing issues with Sim Profiles even though the old traits with the incorrect value is not present on any of your Sims:
If you had that old trait in before it was changed and some other Sim in your game learned their trait that info got saved. So since those old traits were still present in the mod (even though they weren’t present on any Sims), that caused the Sim Profiles to bug out.
I have now removed the old traits completely from the mod and removed the script function that replaces those old traits with the new ones, and everything should be working fine again.
