Basics

There is a hidden loyalty system in place for your gang members that affect their success rates during missions. Read up on this to understand how the basics of it work.

Loyalty Points

When a gang member returns from a successful mission they will get some points added to a hidden loyalty system. The higher score they get, the better chance they will have of their next mission being successful as well.

If they return from a failed mission, however, they will loose a bit of their loyalty points, decreasing their chance of having their next mission being a success.

You can take actions to ensure they get their loyalty points back after loosing them, read below to see how you discipline your unsuccessful gang members.

When a gang members loyalty gets a high enough value you will unlock some additional missions for those gang members.

Discipline

When a gang member has failed a mission you can discipline them in three different ways with varying severity.

To access the disciplinary actions, click on the gang member who was unsuccessful with their mission, go to the Gang menu and then the Loyalty menu.

Reprimand

This is the mildest form of disciplinary actions.

Your Sim will reprimand the gang member, they will loose a small amount of relationship points, and the gang member will have a small chance of regaining their lost loyalty points.

Yell At

This is the middle ground of disciplinary actions.

Your Sim will yell at the gang member, they will loose a medium amount of relationship points, and the gang member will have a medium chance of regaining their lost loyalty points.

Beat Up

This is the most severe form of disciplinary actions.

Your Sim will beat up the gang member, they will loose a large amount of relationship points, and the gang member will have a high chance of regaining their lost loyalty points.

Promote

If a gang member reaches the maximum amount of loyalty points they are up for a promotion. A promoted gang member will have yet another additional mission unlocked and they will have an extremely high chance of always being successful at missions.

How To Promote

You will get a notification when a gang member is up for a promotion. Click on the eligible gang member, go to the Gang menu, then Loyalty and click Promote. That’s all there is to it.

Liquidate

If a gang member reaches the lowest amount of loyalty points you will be able to “take them out” and replace them with a new gang member.

How To Liquidate

You will get a notification when a sub-par performing gang member is up for “replacement”. Talk to one of your enforcers to have them take the under-performing gang member out on a trip to the desert never to be seen or heard from again.

After the deed is done, talk to your enforcer upon return and recruit a new gang member from the Gang menu on your phone.
