Autonomous Drug Use
Disable/Enable autonomous drug use
The autonomous drug use is set to None by default with this mod. Meaning you have to actively have your Sims use drugs in order for them to enable autonomous drug use behavior towards that drug, or assign the autonomy through the Settings menu.
If you want to enable autonomous drug use for one or multiple Sims, click on any Sim go to the “Drugs” pie menu, and “Settings” sub menu, select “Autonomous Drug Use”, then select the drug you want to enable autonomous drug use for, then select “Multiple Sims”.
From here you will get access to a list of all eligible Sims. Select the ones you want and hit “OK”.
After toggling on drug autonomy for one or more eligible Sims, you can (from the same menu) select the levels of autonomy, meaning the frequency of which they will autonomously do the drug.
High Autonomy will give the Sims an addiction to the drug and they will autonomously do the drug whenever they are not high on it, normal autonomy will be relatively frequent, and low autonomy will make them do it on a rare occasion.
All of the drugs also differs in terms of autonomy. Like MDMA for instance is set to trigger on weekends, whereas tobacco autonomy is set to trigger every day.
With this setting you can set the difficulty (ie. frequency) of police busts.
When active, click on your drug dealing Sim go to the “Drugs” pie menu, and “Settings” sub menu, select “Police Busts”. From here you can change between three difficulty levels, Easy, Normal and Hard.
Hard means more frequent busts, Easy means less.
Note: Police will never bust your Sim when they sell from their home lot.
You can choose to disable parental reactions for select Teen Sims.
While active, click on your Teen Sim go to the “Drugs” pie menu, and “Settings” sub menu, select “Parental Reactions” and disable it.
This will ensure that your Teen Sims guardians won’t react to your Teen being high or drunk.
Customer Phone Calls
If you want to disable Customer Phone Calls for your drug dealing Sim, you can do that through the Settings.
While active, click on your dealing Sim go to the “Drugs” pie menu, and “Settings” sub menu, select “Customer Phone Calls”, and disable it.
This will ensure that customers stops calling your Sim.
If you want to enable it, do the exact same thing as before but click “Enable” instead of “Disable”.
Note: on the Patreon version this has been moved to the Dealing menu on the phone.
Basemental Drugs has a number of randomly generated NPC’s in specific situations. Like Police officers for instance. By default the mod generates a random NPC for this role, and the game has a way of making these weird looking random Sims at times. If you want to rather use Sims you created yourself for these roles you can alter it through this Setting.
First, click on your Sim, go to the “Drugs” pie menu, and “NPC Chooser”. From there you select which role you will assign a specific Sim to. For the purpose of this tutorial we will go with “Bouncer” as an example.
Click “Bouncer” and “Assign Bouncer”, from here you can assign up to three Bouncers from your world. If you regret your choice of Bouncers you can go back to this Settings option and select “Remove Bouncer”.
When you go to a nightclub with the Bouncer Lot trait now, one of your newly assigned Bouncers will show up instead of the randomly generated ones.
Console cheat commands comes with the mod. Some of which for adding and removing addictions, but there is also other stuff to be found there.
Open up the cheat console by pressing “Ctrl+C”
Type in “bmd_cheats”
This will give you a full list of all the available console cheats.
