NPC Drug Dealers
The first thing you need to do is to assign an NPC (non playable character) to be your designated dealer.
- Click on any Sim access the Drugs Menu.
- Go to Settings > Assign NPC’s > Assign Drug Dealer
- Choose which Sims you want to set to be NPC Drug Dealers
You can also SHIFT + Click any Sim that is not in your Sims family. Click Drugs > Assign Roles > Other Roles > NPC Drug Dealer.
Buy From Dealer
To start buying drugs from the drug dealer you just made you need to befriend them. The higher friendship level the better prices you’ll get and the more buying options, as well as higher quality drugs. Some of the drugs might not be available from the dealer at all times. If your dealer doesn’t have it right now, try again at a different time.
Remember though, these are supposed to be NPC’s, and you cannot sell drugs from these dealers, only buy drugs from them.
Age Restricted Buying
If teens try to get a hold of harder drugs than Cannabis from NPC dealers they need to buy from dealers the same age as them selves. The option is still there on older NPC dealers but they simply won’t deal those kind of drugs to adolescents.
Get Dealers Number
If your Sim doesn’t know any dealers but have some clubber friends they can now ask their clubber friends about their dealers phone number. A pre-requisite is that the clubber is good friends with your Sim. Meaning a friendship level above 50%.
Discuss Drug Market
The prices on drugs will vary from region to region. You can ask your Drug Dealer (or Clubber friends) about the Drug Market to get information on where drugs are cheap or expensive right now. You specify which drug you want information on and you will get a notification on where it is expensive and cheap right now. In order to make money when starting out it is wise to use this option so you can buy cheap and sell expensive by travelling to the correct regions.
Discussing the drug market comes with a cooldown of a few hours, so choose wisely which drug you need to get updated on.
Trade Sex for Drugs
If your Sim is addicted to a substance he or she can trade sex for the drug he or she is addicted to. This requires WickedWhims to work.
When your addicted Sim is active, click on your drug dealer, select Drugs > Desperate > Exchange Sex for Drug. After you have done that, you need to do the deed manually WickedWhims style. When the deed is done, click your drug dealer again, go back to the Desperate menu and select Receive Payment.
Build/Buy Mode
Some of the drugs can be purchased directly from build/buy mode. These are more expensive than the ones you get from your dealer, however. Most of the drugs are excluded from build/buy, even debug, and it is absolutely recommended you try to play with the mod without taking this shortcut, as it makes for an arguably better experience.
Dark Web
You can purchase larger quantities of drugs with excellent quality on the dark web. There are however some prerequisites to be able to gain access.
Through Dealing
Gain access to the dark web by reaching at least level 3 in any of the Dealing Skills.
Through Research
Gain access to the dark web by researching all available drugs in succession.
To research the available Drugs, click on any computer in game, then select Drugs > Basemental Forum > Research and start researching every drug available. Once that is overwith you will have gained access.
Buying Drugs on Dark Web
Once you have access to the dark web, click on any computer in your Sims home lot* and select Drugs > Dark Web > Buy Drugs. From there you select the drugs and quantity you want to order. The drugs will be delivered to your Sim by mail the next workday.
* Ordering through the dark web will not work on other lots than your Sims home lot as they will only be delivered to the mailbox from where it was ordered from.
