Snorting Ketamine
From Surfaces
To snort ketamine off a table or a counter top, drag the lines of ketamine out of your Sims inventory and place them on whichever surface you’d like to snort it from. Click on the lines and select “Snort Ketamine”. Your Sim will proceed to walk over to the lines and snort them.
From Sinks
Say your Sim is at a nightclub and don’t want to place the lines of ketamine out in the open, you can have them snort the lines directly off in game sinks instead. Make sure your Sim has lines of ketamine in their inventory, click on any in game sink and select “Snort Ketamine”. Your Sim will proceed to walk over to the Sink and snort the lines from there.
Effects
Ketamine is a dissociative drug with psychedelic qualities, and the effects will increase with the quality of product as well as the amount consumed.
The on-set is rapid and the effects relatively short lived. The main effects will put your Sim in a tripping mood, but there are a bunch of random additional buffs and debuffs that vary from the dose and quality. Ranging from light euphoria to being balls deep in a trippy K-Hole.
Sharing Ketamine
To share Ketamine, drag and drop lines of ketamine from your Sims inventory to any surface, click on the lines of ketamine and select “Share With…” select a Sim (from the dropdown list) that your Sim is friendly with (you need a significant friendship level for the option to show up), that is in close proximity to the lines of ketamine.
The Sim you selected will proceed to walk over to the lines and snort them.
Side Effects
Overindulging is never a good thing. I am sure your Sim will snort like a responsible adult, but if that is not the case, here are some of the side effects that might occur.
Addiction
Sims who keeps on snorting a ton of ketamine over a prolonged period of time will eventually run the risk of becoming addicted to ketamine. This starts as a pre-addiction phase where your Sim will get some buffs informing them that they are starting to really enjoy using ketamine. If they lay off the drug for quite some time they can steer clear of becoming addicted. If they ignore the warning signs and keeps on using the drug however they will quickly find themselves addicted to the substance.
The addiction will show up as a buff. This buff lasts for 5 days and is refreshed every time your Sim snorts more ketamine. If your Sim is not under the influence while the buff is active, he or she might get a lot of negative debuffs until he or she snorts more ketamine.
Overdosing
If your Sim snorts too much ketamine in the same sitting he or she might experience a non-fatal or fatal OD. Fatal OD’s are much less common than non-fatal ones. If your Sim has a non-fatal OD, the energy levels will plummet and he or she will eventually pass out. If your Sim experience a fatal OD, however… Well… Game over.
