How to Legalize Gambling

Prerequisite: Basemental Gambling

To legalize gambling, click on any Sim > Drugs > Settings > Legalize Gambling. From here you get a list of all the available regions eligible for legalization. Gambling is criminalized in all of them by default.

Simply click on any of the regions to change the status in that region from criminalized to legalized.

What Does it Do?

Prerequisite: Basemental Gambling

Keeping gambling criminalized doesn’t do much other than make the gambling items for the Casino Venue not work properly. You can’t play any games on the tables, convert chips or hire dealers. That is if you don’t have Basemental Gangs installed.

If you do have Basemental Gangs installed and you are at the end-game of your gang leader career, you will be able to purchase an illegal casino venue. Having gambling criminalized in the region you are setting up your illegal casino venue is then necessary.
