Money Laundering

Prerequisite

To be eligible for money laundering you need to be a playable drug dealer or a leader of a gang. You also need the Get To Work expansion pack, as you need to own a retail lot, vet, restaurant or gang headquarters to launder your money from.

Laundering

Go to your owned retail lot, gang headquarters, vet or restaurant, and make sure you have a computer on the premises*. Click the computer and go to the Money Laundering tab. From there you decide what amount you wish to launder, as long as it is not less than 10 000 Simoleons.

Whenever you launder your money you remove some of the built up potential for a police bust or SWAT raid on your business.

Your Sim will receive a 12 hour buff after laundering money. Whenever that buff runs out you are free to withdraw your sparkly clean money through the same computer.

If you have the Get Famous expansion pack you will also get a slight bit of good reputation whenever you withdraw laundered money, as you are putting up the charade of being a wholesome and successful legit businessperson.

* The computer can not be slotted at the front desk of your business, but rather situated in a back room.
